Earth Hour 2009

Fifty Million people supported the Earth Hour last year.

I urge you to support, just by turning off your lights for an hour, give back to the generous Earth that has given a lot to you.

Sunshine.

Love is like the sun,

and there is only one kind,

one kind to be real,

and fate shall decide,

whoever it's meant for.

And by then, your life will be called perfect.

Yet,  a setting sun,

brings your day into darkness,

into a time of pain and sorrow,

and plunges your world into a deep freeze,

but a kindling fire called hope,

keeps you going on, and on.

Hope keeps the light on,

towards our destiny,

Hope that unveils,

and unfolds mysteries in your life,

one of those called love,

and thus, experiencing it,

makes the sun rise once again,

and thus, seeing the truth and beauty

right before your eyes.

And keeps us going for days, and years.

until the candle of life burns out.

Friends, I'm not saying that the people that have gone before us are not doing their jobs, they ARE doing it. Through that hard work, through their realization they also passed them down to us, so we can have a better future, it's an act of love from our parents, I believe. So, I dedicate this post to them, all of those people who go home from overtime, those who are persevering, and continuing to hope.

There's this lyrics on a song called Drive Me which I get triggered by the most, but I listen to the song because it soothes my morning mood and it makes me think.

"I cannot continue by myself, you cannot continue on your own."

It somehow co-relates with the talk I just had with my mom about life, in our country, in our school and something as simple as our house. She said, "children are the new driving force of the Philippines". Come to think of it, not only the Philippines, children AROUND THE WORLD have to step up, not only us, but in terms of our country, we're really it. The future, the change. And as one world, we can inspire each other towards prosperity and peace. Change comes from you, me, everyone

There's this one other thing that mom said, it inspired me to do more things, to hope, and to finally make a difference by those small things.

"Big decisions, big jobs, big changes always start from small decisions, jobs and changes."

We indeed have to start small first. We have to realize that we cannot get results instantly, but we have to sacrifice ( I now get the definition of work ) and to do things that's better not only for your future, not only mine, but for all of us. We can always start by making good decisions, as we all know, man has the capacity to know right from wrong. In a larger scale, we can't avoid these bad situations from happening. That's one of the reasons why we're human, but being human can have a benefit. Learning. ( Yes, learning ) Learning to be more competent, civilized, faithful, perseverance. Our solutions come from that learning, our ideas, and our hard work especially. I think some of us have had that feeling of "yeah im doing this damn work but what's it for?".

It also needs to be noticed, that keeps us living everyday, afterall.

We'll eventually realize what we're working for.

That gives us the hope to strive for something we really what.

Mixed feelings cloud my mind today. 

I'm supposed to be studying for my exams, but I guess I'll start at five.

I just ate my lunch, I cooked my self prepared meal in my life today.

( interest in cooking, what can I do? lol )

It's the last day of school tomorrow! Finally I can be free, earn and start my job, maybe find my special someone out there, but It's going to be hard. I will challenge myself to be self-productive, brave and many other skills I need to learn before I graduate. I'm only saddened though because S-E and I will be parting, but it makes me happy because we'll have a class reunion on Monday! ( 3/23/09 ). I'll miss that section, It was so far the best school year I've ever had in Zobel. I will never forget you guys! S-E Forevahhh!!!

"Good times are a breeze, enjoy it while you can. You'll eventually notice this when bad things are hard to go through."

I'm almost there. Hard earned rest for everyone! And yet, I would still be incomplete, but I have to be patient. ( Some people know what I mean. )

she's the only girl that can make me feel this way

Do scientists have an explanation for thinking about someone a lot? Please, I need to concentrate studying, even though, I still think of how we could mesh together as one. It's not expressed in the gifts, not even my words. My body has a lot of feelings to uncover for her to really see, but it's too early to tell. Somehow she's the right girl from what I heard, and so far experienced with her. I don't know why, it's not like I have a crush on her yet or something, but I think it could be a start. I still need to be patient, see it through and look at it in a long term scale, it's only for the best.

Have you ever experienced while doing nothing and just lying down somewhere,  thoughts suddenly come and you think an idea or a quote about it? That happens to me, and I feel the moments I miss should be written on paper, or somewhere where I can get back to everyday. Feelings like those are just here once in a while and I wish to express my thought of it to you, dear reader, other than myself. Just to share. 

"Sharing"

 What a beautiful word.

In relation to love, friendship, family and God. It's the most simple.

And so I start something new, get up from the ground, forget the mistakes and have a second take. It's over, nothing can change that.
