Catch Of A Lifetime

It has exactly been a month since I last blogged. I apologize for this. Different escapades have happened throughout that month. Here I am though, tonight, feeling extremely inspired. Hopefully I would take this momentum with me until forever. (Hehe)

This poem is dedicated to those who are longing to have that Catch Of A Lifetime, if you know what I mean. Enjoy reading. Stay inspired.

I take a stroll
beside the sound of the stream
casting my reel
onto its delicate surface

I know this day
as a day of great opportunities
where the sun overhead
sparkles beautifully into the stream

As I wait for my catch
to give me life and strength
I glimpse of a dream
as if it were real

I have caught myself in a battle
with thoughts in mind,
the biggest catch of all lifetimes
a beauty beyond all beauties

It was not an ordinary fish,
but a mermaid of a fairytale.
I thought it were disgruntled,
but just ready to give me her talents.

I dream of the day
wherein I'd catch the biggest catch of my lifetime,
beautiful inside and outside,
from a day of great opportunities.

I patiently wait for you,
I would not want to consume you,
but to take you with me
and keep you until my days end.
