I really promise to try to blog more so often. I have so much ideas going on and I would just like to share them or put them down on paper. Hey, I bought a sketch book to put the deepest, most emotional or most fundamental ideas I have when it comes to drawing or writing.
Here it is! One of its pages.
Let's first set the mood of this post. Check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKHX1a2vcXo
The song may be kinda old, but the feel of this cover by Clara C. puts a different take into it with what has been happening to me lately.
Why "Grass Fires" ? This is a very interesting title that I chose because currently, if you went inside my room, you would be able to smell the grass burning. I have known this smell since I used to "protect" my mom from the house getting burned down (at least, in my imagination) and because I loved her very much. It was really hard to concentrate on siesta time since I was just a kiddo back then. Oh, how I would try to alert her with my kiddo voice to tell her "Ma! Ma! Grass fires! Look look!" I am in the same room where I used to do this. With this song, and the view of the back of my house with the calm yellow that illuminates my room, I can't help think.
Have you ever wanted something and the opportunity is at its highest peak, but you could not because of something that is stopping you? May it be time constraint or conflicting priorities, it would surely bum you out. I am currently in one of those situations, even the truth and secret in life is to be happy with what you have. Sometimes I just could not help imagine different moments and compile them with this song in a music video to tell you how deep the feeling is etched within me.
Maybe this what ignited my fire. My fire consists of many emotions both good and bad. I am very thankful to have shared different moments with the people I encounter everyday, but sometimes I couldn't help be sad because it might be over soon. Although this is the case, the fire can mean a different thing. The fire, if you religiously try to control it, would make you catch up to these different people, or even try to inspire them with the fact that you're always trying to find time to take your friendship to a whole new level. Maybe this would be the fire of love and emotion that could help you do better than what you did yesterday. Why not ignite?
Truly, not all flames would go on forever. It breaks my heart to extinguish it.
Until next time.
